This is an introduction to Última Esperanza Sound. Our suggestion is to use your free arrival time here and save excursions for days with transport arranged. Keep an option to return early if the weather changes.
Chile Travel · Puerto Natales ↗The monument is outside town, around 24 km away according to Chile Travel. Treat it as a separate outing with entry and return transport. On a tour, ask whether admission is included and how much time you actually have at the site.
Chile Travel · Cueva del Milodón ↗Laguna Amarga, Pudeto and Grey serve different parts of a park visit. Buy the bus ticket for the stop your plan needs. A ticket to Pudeto is neither a boat ticket nor transport all the way to the Base Torres viewpoint.

A proposal based in Natales: 3 days/2 nights or 5 days/4 nights. This is not a W or O trek. Staying inside the park requires different reservations and specific planning.
Day 1 · town
Check in, locate your transport departure point and confirm the excursion’s return. Walk along the waterfront if time allows, and prepare what you need for the day outside town.
Day 2 · one main outing
For Paine, arrange entry, your bus stop, onward connections and return before leaving. If available transport does not support the plan, choose another day or visit Milodón with a return arranged. A scheduled bus is not an all-stops sightseeing tour.
Day 3 · departure or a flexible day
On a three-day visit, plan the morning around your airport or bus transfer. With five days, use it as a buffer for weather changes or to spend time in town without a booked excursion.
Days 4–5 · a longer stay
Day four could be Milodón if you chose Paine earlier, or a boat trip with confirmed operation and cancellation terms. Keep the final block for departure. For several days inside the park, rethink accommodation instead of automatically commuting from Natales each day.
Base Torres is a specific hike, not a bus stop. Check conditions and open routes with CONAF. This guide does not assess your ability or guarantee completing the trail in time for the last bus.

Chile Travel lists seasonal flights to Teniente Julio Gallardo. Confirm operation for your dates and arrange the accommodation transfer separately. For January–March 2027, also check the partial-closure notice.
Chile Travel · Puerto Natales ↗You need onward ground travel to Natales. Bus-Sur lists about 3 hours 15 minutes and an airport connection. Ask for the exact pickup point and passing time, which is not necessarily the terminal departure time. A starting fare is not a confirmed quote.

If your plan includes a night inside the park, do not also count it as a night in town: separate the bookings and cancellation terms. Park admission does not include accommodation.

No. Compare stops and time at each place. Ask about guiding, entry, meals and pickup. A scheduled bus provides transport between stops, not a complete sightseeing itinerary.
Do not plan around finding accommodation on arrival. Check required bookings, the circuit and its conditions with CONAF and the providers before finalising transport. This guide focuses on a Natales base.
Check whether a tour includes admission, transfers, boat travel or a meal. Count the package once, then add only excluded items. Do not automatically add these reference fares to a package that already covers them.
