Give this landscape of rock and salt its own time slot. If sunset is your priority, confirm the operator’s exact stops, last admission and return. Entry and transport are separate costs unless your booking explicitly includes both.

A suggested 3-day, 2-night stay, extendable to 5 days and 4 nights. Not every arrival leaves time for an outing that day. Start with your flights and transfers.
Day 1 · arrival
Collect your luggage, take the booked transfer and settle in. Use the remaining time to get your bearings and confirm pickups. Avoid a tightly timed outing immediately after landing.
Day 2 · landscapes
Keep time before the outing for a meal and preparation. If you book stargazing as well, make sure there is enough time to return and reach the next meeting point. If the timings do not work, choose one.
Day 3 · leave or continue
On a short visit, plan this day around your departure. With five days, use it for another outing chosen for your interests and its conditions, rather than to tick off a list. Separate transport from admission when comparing offers.
Days 4–5 · with a longer stay
Use day four for an experience still on your list or a rescheduled outing. Include Tatio only after checking whether its conditions suit you; you can also stay in San Pedro. Keep day five compatible with your departure transfer.
These blocks are not a bookable package. A long outing and a flight on the same day require the operator to confirm the connection; we do not assume it works.

Chile Travel describes roughly 100 km along Route 23 and around 1 hour 30 minutes from Calama. That is a road estimate; transfer waiting and hotel drop-offs take additional time. Check whether your service leaves from the airport or central Calama.
Chile Travel · San Pedro de Atacama ↗Pampa offers a regular airport service with per-passenger fares. Request confirmation for your flight and address, and report accommodation changes. The operator must validate the details and availability before the booking is confirmed.
Transfer Pampa · Calama–San Pedro ↗Before choosing a room outside the centre, ask whether each tour collects there or uses a meeting point. Compare breakfast for early departures, late access, luggage storage and cancellation. We do not have live hotel prices: put your complete quote for the group’s actual occupancy into the planner.

Ask for the included stops, pickup time and address, estimated return, entry fees, meals, group size and cancellation terms in writing. A cheaper tour with excluded admission can cost more overall.
It depends on your booking. Keep a flexible day if an experience matters to you, but check the change deadline and which costs are non-refundable.
Our suggestion is to avoid a tight sequence straight after the flight. A delay can affect both the transfer and the tour meeting point. Use the actual booking conditions to decide how much buffer you need.
